Bristol Play Day is part of a National Play Day the annual national celebration of children's right to play. Bristol Youth Links Play Services have over a number of years made Bristol Playday one of the biggest and most high profile events in the country. This year we were looking to build on the success of previous years and turn College Green into the most fantastic playground possible for approximately 3500 children, thus highlighting the importance of play and children right to play in a public space.

Each year thousands of children take part in play activites across the country. These are organised by local people with the support of Play England. Playday is organised to give children and families a great day out, and to get across some important messages about play and children.
