Bristol’s popular Sports Jam event returns with an afternoon of free taster sessions for young sports enthusiasts aged from 6 to 19, who would like to have a go at a new sport, develop skills or find out more about joining a local sports club. The 2013 Sport Jam takes place on Saturday, May 4 from 12noon to 4pm on Bristol harbourside.

BDP celebrated 20 years of support from volunteers at an event held and sponsored by Smith & Williamson in Bristol on Wednesday, 10th April. Volunteers, Peer Support Workers and Mentors came together to meet important BDP supporters, give talks about their experience of and motivation for volunteering and to receive certificates of achievement from Mayor George Ferguson and Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens.
