Description:

We actively support the right of children and young people to access freely chosen play opportuinities and to be consulted in matters relating to them. Playground users help to design, build and transform their own play space using a wide variety of materials and plenty of ingenuity.

A team of experienced play workers and volunteers are on hand to support and enable children and young people to shape and enjoy a changing environment for imaginative, social, creative and physical play. Through this they are able to learn and develop their skills, build confidence, independence and self esteem. We also advise and support parents and carers who come to the playground.

The site also hosts indoor activities whilst the external area has benefited recently from investment from the Play Pathfinder project with an exciting range of new structures.
